7 days...

I'm aiming to finish one character model in a week. Concept to finish, unwrapped and textured. I'm not going to worry too much about creating a perfect texture, I simply want to get the model to a stage where it only needs minor texture work and finishing touches. I wont be starting on a Monday and going through to Sunday, I'm just gonna give myself seven days from the time that I start. I'll post sketches on the start date and the finished product 7 days later. This is just to see what I can accomplish in within 7 days of work, I might fail in meeting my goal, but I'm sure it will definitely be a good learning experience that will aid in future projects.

Quick sculpt of Ritchie Valens WIP

THE FOOT! progress...

I'm almost done... The next step is to retopologize the high res after all the sculpting is done. Create the normal map, and texture him after that.

Breathing some fresh air into an old project...

I was working on a personal project titled "3" some time ago, and I was not too sure how to approach it at that time. I'm more confident on my approach this time around, so I hope to finish it soon... I was doing some research on the current situation of nomads in Mongolia and found that some of them used motorcycles as transportation rather than horses. The motorcycles being used were modified and piled high with their belongings. The goal of my concept is show what 3 of these people would look like 50 to 100 years later. I'll be posting my progress and work flow.

Andy Bogard Sculpture (Zbrush)

This is a sculpture of Andy Bogard I did for the KOF fan art contest. I used 3ds max for the body base and created all the subtool bases in 3ds max as well.

The Beginning

First off, I should be graduating in about 2 weeks or so, if everything works out for me, and I'm starting this blog as an alternative to my actual website which is currently in the works. I'll be posting my progress on multiple characters which I'm currently working on, as well as information on any new techniques or programs that I'm currently using.
